Iquitos 4 days Amazon Tour

Reception at the Airport or Hotel in Iquitos, Transfer by car and then boat navigating the Amazon River and then Tahuayo river a trip of 3 hours and half  aproximately  to arrive to our jungle Lodge. Welcome drink of local fruits and distribution in your private Bungalow or Cabines

Upon arriving at the lodge lunch at 01:00 pm,

you will be welcomed with refreshments as your accommodations are prepared. Lunch is served at noon, and then there will be some time to relax and prepare things for the first day’s activities.

At 3:00 pm, the group will depart for a jungle walk to look for wildife  as monkeys, sloth, giant wáter lili pads

Dinner at 7:00 pm.  After dinner, depart again to search for nocturnal wildlife by boat such as Caiman, frogs, snakes  and enjoy the jungle symphony.

• Breakfast at the lodge
• Hike on Ceiba trail, named after one of the large trees in the amazon jungle
• Search for over ten species of monkey, looking specifically for the Howler Monkey
• See several of our over 600 species of birds in the area, like the green-backed trogon known for its unique color
• Head back to the lodge for Lunch
• Boat ride up the Tahuayo River about 30 minutes a
• Short Walk to search for Hoatzin, it is a Large. dumpy bird found around lake edges and slow-moving stream  also known as the dinosaur bird fpr their fascinating claws under the wings when they are juveniles
• Back on Board and then mini walk to view the Victoria Amazonica, the world’s largest lily pads
• Tahuayo Excursion as you head back to the lodge and search for animals getting ready for bed
• Enjoy an Amazonian Dinner at the lodge
• Night walk search for snakes, nocturnal birds, tarantulas, porcupines etc
• Head to Bed, You deserve a restful sleep!

• Breakfast at the lodge
• Hike one of the 7 trails we have in the area…
• Or Choose between canoeing, fishing, swimming with the dolphins, hiking another one of the trails or sail one of the lagoons in the area. and learn about medicinal and industrial plants. Look for the smallest of the monkeys, the pygmy marmoset or search for capuchins.
• Discover more birds types of our over 600 species of birds in the area, like the mini toucans or the green parrots.
• Head back to the lodge for Lunch
• Boat ride to one of the many that has tahuayo river lakes and look for monkeys, sloth etc…
• or choose from a variety of activities or explore new areas to find new wildlife.
• Visit the amazonian village of chino village.
• Tahuayo Excursion as you head back to the lodge and search for animals getting ready for bed
• Enjoy an Amazonian Dinner at the lodge
• Night by canoe for explore the beauty of the constelation and the sound of the jungle
• Head to Bed, You deserve a restful sleep!

Starting at 5:30 am (optional) we will board to observe the awakening of nature in the Tahuayo River, we leave early by boat to see the Amazonian sunrise to appreciate one of the unique and pleasant moments that the jungle offers us and birdwatching and then we come for breakfast

Breakfast at 8:00 am Jungle walk into the igapo forest to look for wildlife the howler monkeys, pygmy monkeys (the smallest monkey in amazon)  and owl monkeys and hike into this amazing hábitat to observe the Hoatzin bird and

Lunch at 1: 00 pm

The departure time is at 1: 30 pm  transfer to the airport or hotel
