By making a reservation through any of our official channels, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Policy.
1. Purpose
This Policy establishes the terms and conditions applicable to cancellations, modifications, rescheduling, and refunds for tour packages and other services offered by AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE.
2. Reservation Confirmation
A reservation is considered confirmed when:
- the customer completes the booking process;
- the corresponding payment is received according to the selected payment option (10%, 50%, or 100% of the total reservation amount); and
- AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE sends a confirmation by email or through another official communication channel.
All reservations are subject to the availability of the requested services.
3. Payment Options
To provide greater flexibility, we offer the following payment options:
Option 1 – 10% Deposit
Customers may confirm their reservation by paying a 10% deposit of the total tour package price.
This deposit secures the reservation and will be applied toward the total cost of the booking.
Option 2 – 50% Deposit
Customers may choose to pay a 50% deposit of the total package price.
The remaining balance must be paid within the deadline communicated by AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE before the start of the tour.
Option 3 – Full Payment
Customers may pay 100% of the total package price at the time of booking.
In this case, no further payments will be required unless additional services not included in the original package are requested.
4. Cancellation Requests
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to:
info@amazontahuayoparadise.com
For the purposes of this Policy, the cancellation date shall be the date and time the request is received by the Company.
5. Refunds
Refund requests will be evaluated in accordance with this Policy and any commitments previously made with hotels, jungle lodges, transportation providers, tour operators, and other suppliers involved in the reservation.
As a general guideline:
| Cancellation Timing | Applicable Condition |
|---|---|
| More than 10 calendar days before the arrival date | The amount paid will be refunded, less any applicable administrative fees, bank charges, and non-recoverable costs incurred by the Company. |
| 10 calendar days or less before the arrival date | A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total reservation price will apply. Any refund, if applicable, will be calculated after deducting this penalty and any non-recoverable costs. |
| No Show | No refund will be issued for reserved but unused services. |
6. Cancellation Fee
If a customer cancels their reservation ten (10) calendar days or less before the scheduled arrival date, AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE will apply a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total reservation price.
This fee is intended to cover administrative expenses, operational costs, and commitments previously made with tourism service providers.
The cancellation fee may be deducted from the amount already paid or, if applicable, collected as an outstanding balance.
7. Non-Refundable Expenses
Regardless of the cancellation date, the refundable amount may be reduced by any non-recoverable expenses incurred by AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE, including but not limited to:
- bank charges;
- credit or debit card processing fees;
- administrative costs;
- confirmed reservations with hotels, lodges, or accommodations;
- transportation services already booked;
- entrance permits;
- admission tickets purchased in advance; and
- special services requested by the customer.
8. Date Changes and Rescheduling
Customers may request to reschedule their trip.
All requests are subject to:
- service availability;
- approval by the relevant service providers;
- any applicable fare or price differences; and
- the commercial terms and conditions in effect at the time of the requested change.
Approval of any rescheduling request will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed by AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE.
9. Force Majeure
If the provision of services is affected by extraordinary circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party, including but not limited to:
- natural disasters;
- flooding;
- fires;
- social unrest;
- pandemics or epidemics;
- government restrictions;
- closure of protected natural areas;
- public health emergencies; or
- any other event considered force majeure,
AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE will evaluate each case individually and may offer one of the following alternatives:
- rescheduling the trip;
- issuing a credit for a future reservation; or
- a partial or full refund based on the amounts effectively recovered from suppliers.

If AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE must cancel a service due to operational reasons, safety concerns, or force majeure, the customer may, where applicable:
- reschedule the trip;
- receive a credit for a future booking; or
- request a refund for the value of the services not provided.
The Company's liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the affected services.
11. No Show
A No Show occurs when the customer fails to arrive at the designated meeting point, date, and time for the start of the tour without prior notice of cancellation.
In such cases:
- the reservation will be considered fully used;
- no refund will be issued; and
- the reservation will not be automatically rescheduled.
12. Voluntary Interruption of the Tour
If a customer voluntarily leaves the tour after it has begun, no refund will be granted for any unused services, including accommodation, meals, transportation, excursions, or any other services included in the package.
