2. Services
AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE offers tour packages, excursions, accommodations, and experiences in the Peruvian Amazon. The services included in each package will be those expressly indicated in the corresponding description.
Services not expressly mentioned are considered not included.
3. Bookings
Bookings can be made through the website, email, or any official channel of the company.
All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed only after receiving the corresponding payment. The company reserves the right to reject a booking when there are justified causes, including lack of availability or evident errors in published rates.
4. Booking Payment Options
The customer may choose one of the following payment methods at the time of booking:
Option A – 10% Deposit
- Allows for the temporary blocking of the booking.
- Does not guarantee availability indefinitely.
- The remaining balance must be paid within the period indicated by AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE prior to the travel date.
- If the balance is not paid in a timely manner, the company may cancel the booking without any obligation to refund the amount paid.
Option B – 50% Deposit
- Confirms the booking of the tour package.
- The remaining 50% must be paid before the start of the tour, in accordance with the instructions provided by the company.
- Failure to pay the balance may result in the cancellation of the booking.
Option C – 100% Payment
- The booking is fully paid.
- No additional payments will be necessary, unless the customer requests extra services not included in the package.
5. Payment Methods
We accept the payment methods indicated on our website. All payments are processed using secure platforms. The customer is responsible for verifying that the payment information is correct before confirming the transaction.
6. Cancellations by the Customer
All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email.
Refunds, where applicable, may be subject to administrative fees, bank charges, and the policies of the involved suppliers. If the customer fails to show up ("No Show"), they will not be entitled to a refund.
7. Booking Modifications
Date change requests will be subject to availability. The company will make its best efforts to accommodate requests but does not guarantee that modifications can be made. Rate differences may apply where applicable.
8. Cancellations by the Company
AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE may modify or cancel a tour due to force majeure, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, safety issues, or other circumstances beyond its control.
In these cases, the company may offer:
- Reprogramming of the service;
- A credit for a future booking; or
- The corresponding refund when applicable.
9. Customer Responsibility
The customer declares that they:
- Provide true and updated information;
- Comply with the entry requirements for Peru where applicable;
- Inform about any relevant medical condition;
- Follow the safety instructions of the staff and guides.
10. Nature Activities
Tours in the Amazon include outdoor activities that involve inherent risks, such as trekking, river navigation, wildlife observation, and other activities typical of the natural environment. The customer agrees to participate at their own risk and commits to following all safety instructions.
11. Travel Insurance
It is recommended to have travel insurance that covers:
- Medical expenses;
- Accidents;
- Cancellations;
- Loss of luggage; and
- Emergency evacuations.
12. Limitation of Liability
AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE shall not be liable for:
- Delays caused by airlines;
- Loss of luggage;
- Weather conditions;
- Decisions of government authorities;
- Strikes;
- Natural disasters;
- Acts of third parties beyond its control.
13. Intellectual Property
All website content, including photographs, texts, logos, videos, and designs, belongs to AMAZON TAHUAYO PARADISE or is authorized for use. Its reproduction without prior written authorization is prohibited.
14. Personal Data Protection
The information provided by customers will be treated in accordance with Peruvian legislation on personal data protection. The data will be used solely to manage bookings, provide the contracted services, comply with legal obligations, and improve customer service.
