It is in this tranquil and wild corner of the Amazon that Jackeline was born. Her roots run deep into the rainforest soil, shaped by generations of knowledge passed down through her family. From an early age, she learned the skills of living in the jungle—how to recognize medicinal plants, navigate the waterways, and respect the spirits of the forest.

Jackeline Torres Del Águila was born on March 22, 1986, in the rural community of El Chino, on the banks of the Tahuayo River, in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. At 13, in 1999, she moved to the city of Iquitos to complete her secondary education and later pursue a technical career. With effort, determination, and her own resources, she managed to complete her studies and take her first steps as an entrepreneur.
