Amazon Wildlife Escape | 3 Days / 2 Nights

A perfect getaway for wildlife viewing, jungle trekking, and connecting with nature.

Day 1 – Arrival & First Jungle Adventure
Reception at the airport or your hotel in Iquitos. Transfer by car to the port, followed by a
scenic 3.5-hour boat journey along the Amazon and Tahuayo Rivers to Amazon Tahuayo
Paradise Lodge.
Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink made with local fruits before checking into your private
bungalow or cabin. After lunch, relax before your first jungle adventure.
Afternoon Activity (3:00 PM):
Guided jungle walk to search for monkeys, sloths, birds, and other rainforest wildlife.
Dinner: 7:00 PM
Night Excursion:
After dinner, explore the rainforest in search of caimans, frogs, snakes, and other
nocturnal creatures while experiencing the sounds of the Amazon at night.

Day 2 – River Exploration & Amazon Wildlife
Optional: Early morning excursion before breakfast.
Breakfast: 8:00 AM
Explore the beautiful Tahuayo River in search of pink and gray river dolphins. Along the
way, observe birds, sloths, iguanas, and other wildlife, with an opportunity to swim in the
river (weather and conditions permitting).
Lunch: 1:00 PM
Afternoon Activity (3:00 PM):
Traditional piranha fishing (optional).
Wildlife observation by boat, searching for macaws, monkeys, sloths, and other Amazon
species.
Enjoy a spectacular Amazon sunset.
Dinner: 7:00 PM
Night Walk:
Search for tarantulas, frogs, dwarf caimans, insects, porcupines, and, if you’re lucky,
snakes.

Day 3 – Amazon Sunrise & Departure
Optional Sunrise Tour (5:30 AM):
Experience the magical Amazon sunrise while enjoying excellent birdwatching along the
Tahuayo River.
Breakfast: 8:00 AM
Take a final jungle walk through the Igapó flooded forest, searching for howler monkeys,
pygmy marmosets (the world’s smallest monkey), owl monkeys, and the prehistoriclooking hoatzin bird.
Lunch: 1:00 PM
After lunch, depart by boat and vehicle for your transfer to the airport or your hotel in
Iquitos.
